Modelware™ has been a provider of silicon Virtual Components and design services to leading telecommunications companies since 1996. Modelware's Library of advanced cores includes support telecommunications and data communications standards such as ATM, HDLC, POS and Ethernet. Examples include ATM Transmission Convergence, IMA, UTOPIA, POS-PHY, IX Bus, and more. Standard interface solutions based on these core products include Motorola 860SAR to UTOPIA 2 Slave bridge, Intel 21440 Octal MAC to POS-PHY L3 bridge, Intel IXF1002 Dual Gigabit MAC to POS-PHY L3 bridge, and more. Using these cores, we provide system architecture and design services for customers with special requirements. We also offer a legacy device redesign service where we redesign discontinued devices from information in the data sheet in Verilog/VHDL.
