TurboConcept specializes in turbo code Forward Error Correction solutions. TurboConcept offers the first turbo code IP core compliant with the DVB open standard Return channel via Satellite (ETSI EN 301 790) : TC1000 IP core. It implements the second generation of turbo codes, eliminating the classical "flattening" effect. TC1000 has been optimized for Xilinx Virtex family. The IP core has been tested and validated in several third-party environments and an ASIC version has been specifically developed for a space on-board application. TurboConcept offers complementary services: support for system integration, design customizations and ASIC migration. VHDL source code is also available. TurboConcept works in close partnership with ENST Bretagne, the French university who invented turbo codes in 1991. Inventors of turbo codes are shareholders of the company.
Xilinx Alliance Program Overview
Today's marketplace demands integrated world class solutions. The Xilinx Alliance Program assures you of the best available “total solutions” combining Xilinx programmable logic with key technologies from our Alliance Program members, including IP cores, EDA, DSP and embedded development tools, design services, board-level products, integrated circuits, and electronic components.
Since September of 2001, the SignOnce IP License has been the industry's first and only set of common license terms for programmable logic soft IP cores. Xilinx and leading third-party providers have agreed to offer cores to FPGA customers under a common set of terms known as the SignOnce IP License thereby simplifying the process by which customers can access IP from multiple suppliers. This page provides access to example license forms, membership and additional information.
