When I use the -smartguide option to map a design, MAP fails with the following error in phase 10.29:

Phase 10.29
...........................
.............................................................
DeleteInterpProc called with active evals

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

Why is this happening? This does not occur if I do not use the -smartguide option.

解决方案

There is a known issue in MAP, where it issues a fatal_error in phase 10.29 when using the -smartguide option.

This is fixed in next major release, ISE 11.1

In the mean time, you can work around the issue by not using the -smartguide option in MAP.
