If FPGA Express has not been installed according to (Xilinx Solution 10301), Windows does not register it correctly.
(NOTE: For dual installations -- Foundation Aldec and ISE -- please see Resolution 2.)
The following work-around will re-install FPGA Express correctly:
1. Reboot your PC. 2. Re-install Service Pack 7 (all three files) according to (Xilinx Solution 10301). If you already downloaded "fpgaexp35.exe" for Service Pack 8, this will also work for SP7.
3. Reboot your PC. 4. Re-install Service Pack 8 (all three files) according to (Xilinx Solution 10301). 5. Reboot your PC.
The program icon for FPGA Express may be removed from "Accessories" under the Xilinx Program Group; you may need to recreate the icon if you use stand-alone FPGA Express.
