General Description: When I target a Virtex-II Pro design with IP modules from CORE Generator, the following error appears if my core has RLOC or RPM (Relationally Placed Macro):
"ERROR:Pack:12 - The RLOC value of X20Y104 on component N3682 in RPM hset creates a macro that is too large for the device. Use a bigger device."
This error occurs because PAR is not able to successfully place the RPM macros in the device.
A possible work-around for this problem is to re-generate the core module without the RPM, and use the cores without the RPM. This work-around may reduce the performance of the core module, but it should make placement of the design easier.
