General Description: When I run NGDBuild with a long path to my project directory, the following error messages are reported:
"INFO:NgdBuild - Release 4.1.03i - edif2ngd E.33 INFO:NgdBuild - Copyright (c) 1995-2001 Xilinx, Inc. All rights reserved."
"ERROR:NgdBuild:139 - Cannot write output file "C:/testcase/413051/filter_pre_processor/project_data/sirfc_comanche/drawings/A3200144/Sign l_Processor_FPGA/Place&Route/filter_pre_processor/xproj/ver1/filter_pre_proce ssor.ngo". Please make sure that you have adequate disk space and that you have write permission to the output directory. This message may also occur if you are currently having network problems."
"ERROR:NgdBuild:276 - edif2ngd exited with errors (return code 1)."
These errors occur because a long path was specified with the "-dd" option. There are two ways to work around this problem:
1. Trim the length of project path so that it is less than 75 characters.
2. Run NGDBuild from a command line prompt without using the "-dd" option.
This issues will be fixed in the 5.1i software, which is scheduled to be released in September, 2002.
