Project Navigator - Processes that run for a project on a network drive are not updated
I create a project on a remote drive and the initial process run is successful. However, if I change a process option, successive process runs do not result in the process status marker being updated to Tick. A question mark remains, indicating that the process is out-of-date.
This issue is caused by a difference between the system clocks in the local and remote (file server) computers. When you write a file to a network drive, the time stamp is based on the file system computer. If the file server is ahead of the local computer, any generated files might acquire a time stamp before the source files; in this case, Project Navigator detects this and marks the file or a process, depending on the file, as "out-of-date". The best solution to this problem is to ensure that the two system clocks are synchronized.
