ISE Uninstall - How do I properly uninstall ISE while maintaining multiple versions?

There are two or more versions of ISE installed on my Windows machine, but in the Add/Remove Programs area, there is only one version listed to uninstall. How do I uninstall the version of ISE I want removed?

ISE 7.1i and newer versions:



ISE 7.1i and newer versions do have their own registry entry, so executing an uninstall using Add/Remove programs should work correctly. If you are maintaining multiple service pack versions of the same ISE release, then uninstalling from Add/Remove Programs is not recommended as your registry settings will be removed. In this case, you can simply delete the folder of the version you want to remove.



ISE 6.3i and older versions:



ISE 6.3i and older versions use a single, shared registry entry, so executing an uninstall using Add/Remove Programs will not work and if used, might render the other versions unusable. In this case, you can simply delete the folder of the version you want to remove.
