To fix the drivers for the Xilinx Platform Cable USB, follow the steps below to uninstall and re-install the drivers:
1) To delete the partially installed or corrupted drivers, uninstall the Xilinx Platform Cable USB driver from the programming cables section of the Device Manager as follows:
2) Reset the cable by unplugging the USB cable and plugging it back in.
3) Start iMPACT and connect to the USB cable.
