What are the Jumpers J15 and J19 used for on the XtremeDSP Development Kit?
These pins are used by the factory, and not necessary for operating the XtremeDSP Development Kit. This is why there is no documentation in the Users Guide.
- J15 - Its location now is below the Nallatech emblem engraved in the motherboard (not available on the RoHS Compliant XtremeDSP Development Kit-IV).
--- J15 is part of the power on reset circuitry for the Spartan CPLD used for the PCI or USB interface.
- J19 is a 9-pin jumper located on the left of the two programmable oscillators in the lower right corner of the motherboard.
--- J19 is used for JTAG programming in the factory.
