Why do my Image Processing Pipe Video IP cores fail to update the netlist when the parameters or the license are changed, but the component name remains constant?
This affects the following IP in 11.1:
- Color Correction Matrix v1.0
- Color Filter Array Interpolation v1.0
- Defective Pixel Correction v1.0
- Gamma Correction v1.0
- Image Processing Pipeline v1.0
This problem is resolved in 11.2.
The problem is that even if you change any parameters, or change from an evaluation to a full license on any of the above listed IP, the CORE Generator software returns the original netlist. The following patch resolves this problem.
Installation and Use:
Install the patch by extracting the contents of the ".zip" archive to the root directory of the XILINX (Xilinx ISE installation), or your MYXILINX environment variable. Select the option that allows the extractor to overwrite all of the existing files and maintain the directory structure predefined in the archive.
For further information on finding the Xilinx install and using environment variable, see (Xilinx Answer 11630).
For further information on using the MYXILINX environment variable, see (Xilinx Answer 2493).
NOTE: You might be required to have a system administrator install the patch if you do not have write permissions to the Xilinx Install directory, or if you cannot use the MYXILINX option.
