Why do some Max Lines Per Frame values cause an "XST failed for v_timebase_v1_0" error during generation?
"ERROR:sim - Error: XST failed for v_timebase_v1_0. ERROR:Xst:2587 - Port <det_v0active_start> of instance <U0> has different type in definition <v_timebase_v1_0>."
This is a known issue in the core that is fixed in the Video Timing Controller v2.0.
You can work around this problem by setting the Max Lines Per Frame to a value that is a power of 2.
For example, if you had set the value to 1000 lines and received an error, you can change this to 1024 which is a power of 2.
