General - Sending a file using FTP

Description

This is an obsolete flow, please use EZMove. See (Xilinx Answer 1368) for more information.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
There are two main uses for the customer area of the Xilinx FTP site:

- To upload a file to Xilinx Technical Support
- To download a file from Xilinx Technical Support

This Answer Record describes how to accomplish these tasks in a variety of ways. If any of the suggestions below do not work, there might be a proxy or firewall issue at your location. Please contact your local I.T. department for further assistance with FTP.

NOTE: Because of security issues, you cannot obtain a listing of files in the FTP upload and download directories.
