On page 46, of the KC705 Evaluation Board for the Kintex-7 FPGA User Guide v1.1 (UG810), it indicates that the 4-position user DIP Switch (SW11) is a set of signals GPIO_DIP_SW[4-0].This implies that this is a 5-position user DIP Switch.
Is SW11 a 4-position or 5-position DIP Switch?
SW11 is the 4-position user DIP Switch on the KC705. This is labeled SW11 on the silkscreen and schematic, and the signals to this switch are GPIO_DIP_SW[3:0]:
GPIO_DIP_SW3
GPIO_DIP_SW2
GPIO_DIP_SW1
GPIO_DIP_SW0
The KC705 schematic is correct and should be followed.
