Why does the writing of the coefficients sometimes fail after installing the patch for (Xilinx Answer 55980)?
This can result in video that is blank or might be corrupted in such a way that the colors do not map correctly.
The patch to resolve the write failures for some registers caused a change in the Video Scaler coefficient writing timing, which causes the writing of the coefficients to sometimes fail.
This issue has been resolved in the Video Scaler v7.01.a Rev2 patch for ISE Design Suite and EDK tools.
This issue has been resolved in the Video Scaler v8.1 for the Vivado tools.
