System compile times can be excessive for hosts with fewer than 16 cores.
This can render the machine unresponsive.
This is due to the underlying Vivado tool process forking.
To work around this issue, set the following on the command line:
sds++/sdscc -maxjobs <host core count>/2
Alternatively, you can update this in the SDx GUI, in the project build settings for the sds++ linker.
