2.1i XC3000 PAR - ERROR:Portability:90 - Command line error: Argument[4] "TRUE" needs to match one of these keywords:"exact|leverage".

General Description :

When using exact guided PAR for a XC3000 family design, PAR gives the following error:

ERROR:Portability:90 - Command line error: Argument[4] "TRUE" needs to match one of these keywords:"exact|leverage".

Or, when deselecting the "Match exactly" option, the following error may result:

ERROR:Portability:90 - Command line error: Argument[4] "FALSE" needs to match one of these keywords:"exact|leverage".

NOTE: This issue has been resolved in the 3.1i release

The workaround for this issue is to run the PAR stage of the tools through the command line interface.
For more information on the command line syntax, please see the PAR chapter of the Development
System Reference Guide online at http://toolbox.xilinx.com/docsan/2_1i/.

There are two options for completing the design flow after running the PAR stage though the command line:

1. Run Timing Simulation and Bitgen through the command line interface as well.

2. Run the rest of the flow through the graphical Flow Engine. To do this:
-open the Flow Engine
-select Setup -> Advanced
-manually change the Implementation State to : Routed

The Flow Engine can now be run as normal to complete the design flow.
