Can I ignore these warnings?

Most of these warnings can be ignored, as the files that are mentioned in the warnings are no longer a part of the Alliance tools. However, one problem that has been discovered that occurs only on HPs, and only if the original installation was done with an elite cd key. If this is the case, you should see warnings such as:
File does not exist: /home/apps/xilinx/M2/virtex/data/v100.spd File does not exist: /home/apps/xilinx/M2/virtex/data/v150.spd File does not exist: /home/apps/xilinx/M2/virtex/data/v50.spd
If you are seeing these warnings, there are indeed missing files from the small Virtex devices. To resolve this problem, please see http://www.xilinx.com/techdocs/8089.htm.

If you are using the XDL program, then the message about the XDL program not being updated from $XILINX/bin/hp is correct. This is a known problem, and will be addressed in the next major software release. In the meantime, there are two work-arounds available to receive the latest XDL executable.
If the userware utilities were installed, this application can be run from there. This utility is updated with the service pack installation in the userware location.
The other option is to manually extract this file from the service pack, and copy it into the $XILINX/bin/hp directory.
3
If you see warnings about files in the $XILINX/synopsys/libraries or $XILINX/viewlog/data directories, these warnings are occurring because these CAE libraries were not installed, and are to be expected.
4
If you are seeing any other 'File does not exist' message, then the message can be ignored an indeed the service pack install was successful. These messages will be fixed in a future service pack.
