When trying to perform an advanced analysis on a design with no PERIOD constraint and only an OFFSET constraint specified, the Timing Analyzer core dumps.
All OFFSET constraints need to be relative to a clock.
You can work around this issue by specifying a PERIOD constraint so that the OFFSET can be relative to a clock. This will prevent Timing Analyzer from core dumping during advanced analysis.
For additional information, see (Xilinx Answer 5489).
This issue will be addressed in a future release.
