FPGA Editor - What does the FPGA Editor "add net" command do?

General Description:

From the FPGA Editor command line interface, the "add net" command can be used to manually add nets to pins. How should this command be used?

There are two forms of the "add net" command:

"add net [netname]"

This command simply adds a zero pin net, with an optional name "netname". It does not expect any components to be selected.

"add net"

By selecting pins and executing an "add net" command, FPGA Editor automatically adds all of the selected pins to a new net, but it does not expect a net name.
